Vincent N. Durso Sr. – Connecticut Field Operations Officer
Vincent N. Durso Sr. has brought 30 years of continuous executive security and corporate investigative experience to Integrated Security Services. A native Connecticut resident, and member of our executive team since 1999, Mr. Durso’s vast knowledge of Connecticut’s municipal, residential and commercial communities has helped Integrated Security broaden its services and products to this demanding market. Mr. Durso brings years of investigative and intelligence skills coordinating with local and state law enforcement agencies on investigations ranging from wrongful death cases, work place violence, labor strikes, and mass fraud.
During his many years as a security professional, Mr. Durso has been assigned to numerous sensitive assignments. Mr. Durso was contracted to coordinate security services for the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation at the New Haven Railroad Terminal, and designed and implemented security protocols responsible for reducing and deterring property thefts, trespass and increasing safety. Additionally, Mr. Durso has been assigned to executive protective details for corporations such as; S.N.E.T., American Scandia, TranSwitch Corporation, Chubb Insurance, Swiss Bank-W.D.R, Pfizer, and dignitaries such as President and Mrs. Bush, Governor Rowland, and Secretary of the Treasury, Robert E. Rubin to name a few.
During his last 5 years as Connecticut Field Operations Officer for Integrated Security, Mr. Durso has been tasked with establishing an executive security force for the Hyatt Hotel Corporation’s Hyatt Regency Greenwich. In addition to screening and training the on-site security staff, Mr. Durso has been called upon to conduct safety and security seminars for hotel management and staff. Additionally, Mr. Durso has worked very closely with Hyatt’s Risk Management personnel on updating and implementing emergency response plans for security and hotel staff.
Mr. Durso is a certified crime prevention specialist, and security and fire safety coordinator. Mr. Durso also holds Connecticut State and N.R.A. firearm certifications and licenses for handguns, long arms and assault weapons.
