Carrie-Jo McGuffey | Managing Director Connecticut
Carrie-Jo McGuffey is a former Lieutenant with the Yale University Police Department and received the Leadership award from Connecticut Association of Woman Police in 2010. Her responsibilities at Yale included planning, coordinating and directing all major events, VIP visits and high-risk events. Ms. McGuffey coordinated security details for visits dignitaries such as: Presidents’ George W. Bush, George H. Bush and Bill Clinton, UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Supreme Court Justices and numerous celebrities.
Ms. McGuffey served as a member of the University’s Emergency Planning and Operations team, responsible for planing and training security personnel and staff for all types of emergencies. Ms. McGuffey is also trained as an Internal Affairs investigator, a hostage negotiator and a rape crisis counselor. Ms McGuffey received specialized training to assist with on/off campus investigations, as well as track, analyze and respond to crime trends.
As Managing Director Connecticut , Ms. McGuffey functions as the senior case officer and oversees a wide range of investigations and security operations for the company’s two Connecticut offices located in Hartford and Norwalk.
Ms. McGuffey holds a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and is a Board Certified Criminal Defense Investigator.
