Thomas J. Martin has joined Integrated Security Services as Managing Director of Data Forensic Services. Tom Martin leads our team in providing all levels of data recovery and forensic evidence examinations to law firms, corporations large and small, and anyone seeking these services.

With 18 years of investigative experience, Mr. Martin, a decorated and distinguished law enforcement professional, comes to Integrated from his position as an investigator for the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office; Whistleblower and Healthcare Fraud Unit.

Tom Martin retired as a detective with the South Windsor Police Department. While there, he served an extended tour as a member of the FBI’s Connecticut Computer Crime Task Force in New Haven and held a Top Secret security clearance. Mr. Martin has conducted numerous computer crime and digital evidence investigations that resulted in both state and federal criminal convictions. He has vast experience testifying in both civil and criminal proceedings. Mr. Martin has received specialized training and certification in the use of EnCase, FTK and BK Forensics software.

Mr. Martin is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and specializes in white-collar investigations. He holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University and teaches undergraduate White Collar Crime classes at the University of Hartford and at Northwest Community College. In 2008, Mr. Martin was recognized for exceptional investigative work by the United States Attorney’s Office for United States v. Kertez, et., al.
